He obtained his bachelor's degree in Psychology from Sanata Dharma University. Subsequently, he completed a special religious education through the Certified Diploma of Buddha Disciple program, which was offered by the Regents of Providence Maitreya Buddha Maitreya Missionary Institute. After four months of intensive study, he was selected to return to the monastery and continue his religious education for an additional six years.
Upon returning to Indonesia, he was driven by a strong desire to engage in meaningful conversations and build connections with individuals from diverse backgrounds. This motivation led him to pursue a master's degree at the Center for Religious and Cross-cultural Studies (CRCS) at Gadjah Mada University.
His academic and personal interests center on exploring the intricate connections between religion and ecology. He is particularly passionate about interreligious dialogue and ecological justice, with a specific focus on social justice issues. Through his research and studies, he aims to bridge understanding across different religious and cultural perspectives while addressing critical environmental and social challenges.
