Maksimilianus Jemali is a doctoral student at Indonesian Consortium for Religious Studies (2018- ) and also a lecturer at Indonesia Catholic University of Saint Paul Ruteng, Manggarai, Flores (2012- ). He obtained his Bachelor Degree (2007) and his Master Degree (2011) at Catholic Institution of Philosophy and Theology Ledalero, Maumere, Flores. His research interest is in philosophy and local culture studies which focus on the shift of philosophical studies from grand narratives to little narratives, local culture as peace instrument and conflict resolution, and inter-religious studies. He has published some articles in journal and written some books such as Theologi Hitam dan Teologi Ubuntu Desmond Tutu-Inspirasi Pembebasan dan Rekonsiliasi (2014) and Tindakan Politik, Perspektif Hannah Arendt (2017). In collaboration with some colleagues, he has written some books such as Gereja di Era Globalisasi Pewartaan (2018) and Filsafat Pendidikan di Era Rovolusi Mental (2018).
