Muhammad Sandi Rosyadi is originally from Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. He earned his bachelor’s degree in the Comparative Religion program at the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Antasari State Islamic Institute Banjarmasin, in 2015. In the same year, he pursued his master’s degree at the Center for Religious and Cross-Cultural Studies, Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, focusing on civil society and tolerance in Banjarmasin communities.
Since 2019, Sandi has been an active lecturer at Antasari State Islamic University, Banjarmasin, teaching in the Religious Studies program under the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Humanities. In 2024, after being awarded a scholarship from the Indonesian Ministry of Finance’s LPDP program, he became a Ph.D. student, with a particular research interest in the relationship between religion and generosity, specifically examining public rituals and generosity behavior within communities.
