Siti Aliyuna Pratisti, born on 21 August 1983, is a lecturer and an independent writer. She graduated in 2006 with Bachelor Degree in International Relations from Universitas Padjadjaran. She continued her Master Degree in Political Science, and after graduated in 2010, she starts teaching in the Department of International Relation, Faculty of Social and Political Science, Universitas Padjadjaran. Her academic works focus on teaching Global Politics, but she also put major concern on the studies of identity. She published several articles related politics of identity in Indonesia, including an article on Adzan as identity marking which published by Lembaga Ilmu Pengetaguan Indonesia (LIPI), also articles on identity-based analysis on migration and refugee in Southeast Asia. In addition to teaching and research, she also a co-founder of antimateri.com, a self-published webzine that she and her colleagues develop as an alternative public sphere. Now she is working on her dissertation as part of her doctoral program at the Indonesian Consortium of Religious Studies, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Her research sought an interplay of religious identity in environmental migration.
